I have recently completed a `TREATMENT` with associated `SYNOPSIS` and `PITCH` which I now need to channel through a film production company.
The essential claim of this fact/fiction historical drama is Lenin announced that Grand Duke Michael, (The brother of tsar Nicholas II) who became the last Tsar after abdication, was assassinated in 1918,….. but British Spies rescued him at the scene and brought him to the UK in secrecy to live his second life, producing legitimate heirs to the Russian Throne in 1946.
The work is based on my recent novel titled THE TWO LIVES OF GRAND DUKE MICHAEL (the last tsar of Imperial Russia) which starts its journey in 1917 upon the abdication of Michael`s elder brother Tsar Nicholas II and concludes in 1947 when he dies with his 2 wives …. Olga Bystrovia (MI6 Indian spy) and Natasha Brasova (his first wife who assumed he had been assassinated in 1918 by Lenin’s Bolshevik thugs) at his bedside in a London hospital. Resurgence of worldwide interest in the Imperial Royal family, is more topical now as the centennial anniversary of the first Romanov to be assassinated on the authority of the Bolshevik leader Vladimir Lenin occurred on June 13th. 2018.

Grand Duke Michael undertakes a perilous two-week journey to the UK from Bolshevik Russia to meet with the Western Allies to discuss invasion plans to remove the Bolsheviks from Power and install him as the new Tsar. Upon his return, and after burying a huge haul of Russian Crown Jewels on the Yorkshire coast, the plans come to a halting stop when it is claimed that he was assassinated whilst under house arrest in Siberia.
The incontestable facts emerge, that after several searches at the murder scene in Perm by Russian investigators over the last few years….., the body has never been found.
Here the story is set for the authors imagined second chapter in the life of Grand Duke Michael. He carefully crafts in detail, the revelation of his survival…. helped by Sidney Reilly of MI6, and a new life in the UK under a different identity with the care of the British Secret Service whilst working at Bletchley Park in WW2.
